Family looking for a private duty nurse (PDN) for three six-year-old children in the home, at school, or any other activities outside of the home with the family. THE DETAILS 32 hrs​/​week Mostly weekdays​/​daytime hours LPN $21​/​hr per patient, RN $27​/​hr per patient Located in Parker Co Must be able to lift 35+lbs Must be comfortable with dogs in the home Non-smoking RESPONSIBILITES Tracheostomy and ventilator skills Work on therapy techniques G-Tube feeds Personal & hygienic care Assist in going to doctors​/​therapy appointments PDN will be responsible for the medical care and duties related to gastrostomy feedings, tracheostomy, ventilator, and any other accompanying nursing interventions and assessments. Duties include but not limited to medication administration, infection prevention, tracheal suctioning and nebulizer treatment, collaboration with in-home therapists, CNA’s or other respite providers. All three children can ambulate independently or with standby assistance. PDN must be able to provide medical care based upon medical necessity, cognitive development, and behavioral needs. Available shifts: Tuesday through Friday, 0800-1600 Pay is based upon a three patient rate.
