We just moved to the area from Missouri and are not yet contracted with an agency. Our son will be going into first grade in the fall though, and will need a nurse to attend with him. We are hoping to find someone to start no later than June to get to know him and his needs, so they are confident with his care for the school semester. The summer time shifts would be flexible! Our son is 6 years old and is such a fun little dude! He is smart, funny, loves to joke, and had his nurses back in Missouri wrapped around his finger! He is in a powerchair, non-mobile, has a gtube and requires routine respiratory care—cough assist, suction, CPT vest, and uses bipap at night. We are happy to train the right candidate on any of his cares—our main priority is finding someone who will give him the absolute best care, and help him have the very best school year possible in the fall!
